Bourreria cassinifolia

Family:BORAGINACEAE
Species:Bourreria cassinifolia (A.Rich.)Griseb.
Common Name:SMOOTH STRONGBARK; LITTLE STRONGBARK
Plant Notes:Primarily known as B. cassinifolia in Florida, a recent monograph indicated that B. havanensis is the proper name with B. cassinifolia in synonymy (Gottschling & Miller 2018). Oddly, this monograph keys out B. havanensis as having glabrous leaf blades, although the description mentions they are occasionally scabrous (common in Florida plants).
