Plant Notes:Pseudoziziphus contains two species, this one and P. parryi of the southwestern USA and northwestern Mexico. The genus Pseudoziziphus is related to Condalia, both of which are well separated from Ziziphus s.s. (Hauenschild et al. 2016).
