Agave angustifolia Haw.
CENTURY PLANT
**
The name Agave vivipara is widely misapplied to this and other species (see García-Mendoza & Chiang 2003). Agave vivipara is a very different species with comparatively short and wide recurved leaves with large tuberculate marginal teeth (see Hummelinck 1938: tab. II and III), and not widely cultivated.
