Euthamia graminifolia is considered absent from Florida, and these populations now fall under the name E. hirtipes (glabrous to hirtellous leaves; widespread in Florida) and E. scabra (scabrous leaves; only in panhandle in Florida) (Szubryt et al. 2020).
